7-Day Defective Item Return Policy

At Bolt Bikes, we stand behind the quality of our products. If your item is defective or arrives damaged, you may request a return within 7 days of receiving your order. We do not accept returns for change of mind or if the item is no longer required.

Eligibility for Return

  • Only defective items or items damaged in transit are eligible for return.
  • The product must be unused and returned in its original packaging, including all accessories and documentation.
  • Returns without original packaging cannot be accepted.
  • If the product or packaging is damaged during return transit due to improper packing, repair or replacement costs will be deducted from your refund.

Return Process

  • All returns require written approval from Bolt Bikes before you send anything back. Please contact us at boltbikesaustralia@gmail.com with your order details, photos of the defect or damage, and a description of the issue.
  • If your return is approved, we will provide return instructions and the correct return address.
  • Items sent back without prior written approval will not be accepted.

Return Shipping & Restocking Fee

  • The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • A restocking fee may apply and will be deducted from your refund.
  • We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service for your protection.

Damaged or Incorrect Items Upon Arrival

  • Inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
  • If your item is damaged or incorrect, take clear photos of the item and packaging.
  • Obtain a signed confirmation or note from the courier acknowledging the damage.
  • Contact us at boltbikesaustralia@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery, including photos and courier confirmation.
  • Do not send any items back until you have received written instructions from us.

Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
  • If approved, your refund (minus any applicable fees or repair costs) will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us at boltbikesaustralia@gmail.com.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Returns are not accepted for change of mind, unwanted items, or if the original packaging is missing or damaged beyond reasonable handling.
  • Sale items and gift cards are non-returnable.
